Who I am

This website belongs to Michelle Kember-Imrie, a sole trader based in Perth, Western Australia (ABN 96 748 115 592). On this page, “I” and “me” mean Michelle Kember-Imrie.

I handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What I collect

I only collect the information I need.

When you contact me

The contact form asks for your name, email address, organisation and message, and your phone number if you choose to give it. If you email me directly, I receive whatever you include in your email.

When you register interest in events

The events form asks for your name and email address, and your organisation and the kinds of events you’re interested in if you choose to tell me.

When you book training or work with me

I collect the details I need to arrange the work and invoice you, such as attendee names, your organisation, a billing contact and a purchase order number. If you tell me about dietary or accessibility requirements, I use them only to make arrangements for you.

When you visit this website

This website is hosted by Squarespace, which automatically collects basic information about visits, such as the pages viewed, the type of browser and device used and an approximate location. This helps keep the website working and secure. Squarespace also uses cookies that the website needs to work properly.

How I use your information

I use your information to:

• reply to your enquiry
• arrange and deliver training, coaching, consulting or events
• send quotes and invoices
• let you know about events you’ve registered interest in.

I won’t add you to a mailing list or send you marketing emails without your permission.

Who else sees it

I don’t sell, rent or trade your personal information.

Some of the services I use to run my business, such as my website host and email provider, store information on my behalf. Some of these services may store information on servers outside Australia.

I’ll only share your information with anyone else if you’ve agreed, or if the law requires it.

Keeping it safe

I take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. I keep it only for as long as I need it, or as long as the law requires, for example for tax records.

Seeing, correcting or removing your information

You can ask to see the information I hold about you, correct it or have it removed. Email me at mkemberimrie@gmail.com and I’ll respond within 30 days.

Concerns or complaints

If you have a concern about how I’ve handled your information, please contact me first so I can put it right. If you’re not satisfied with my response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (opens in a new tab).

Changes to this page

I may update this page from time to time, for example if I start using new tools on this website. The latest version will always be here.
